Scent Inspiration: This is a somewhat obscure story where words fail feelings felt. Quiver is a poetic and sensual olfactory journey that carries us into the heart of longing, the thrill and the hurting of the quickening heart.
Have you ever wandered longingly through the forest in search of mystery? Werifesteria (spelt phonetically) is an old English word that describes this kind of spiritual activity when we feel compelled to seek out wild places, to revel in the abiding stillness of our solitude in the wilderness where nature has not been shaped by human hands. Our wistful wanderings take us to that transcendent point where it feels good to be lost in the right direction, because the spirit feels animated and elevated beyond prosaic human concern.
Awakened to that part of us that is eternal and divine, the forest around us, seemingly seethes with connectivity, shimmering with life-force as very old, deep memories are stirred up, evoking our instinctual processes about what it means to be a spiritual being playing at being human. Quiver beckons us to answer the wild call of the expanded heart zone and summons within us the courage to rise above the hunting grounds of everyday life, to be neither predator nor prey.
Quiver embeds us in nature as native returned to the fold; led by our nose, we perceive through the portal of the soft, open heart. Ylang and cinnamon suggests we were born to be in a state of longing, a euphoric reverie as we dream of lost love or romantic love that eludes us. Unflinching notes of buddha wood lend sense to that which we are missing - the perceiver who gazes back at us and watches us think. Whiffs of mystical nutmeg, petitgrain and cardamom captures the elusive, spectral presence of a deeper more enduring love in our heightened imagination. We realise how there is really no lesser or greater love, it is all of the same omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent source; we need never feel lonely again in our aloneness.
Ingredients: sandalwood hydrosol, certified organic botanical undenatured ethanol, essential oils (grapefruit, buddha wood, petitgrain, nutmeg, vetivert, bergamot, ylang ylang, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, clove), solubiliser (vegetable source), benzoin gum. Packaging: recyclable blue glass bottle.

Shipping Rates
~Postage within Australia is FREE for all retail orders over $120 via regular post.
~Orders under $25 are charged a small parcel rate of $9.80.
~Orders from $25.01 to $119.99 are charged $14.50 shipping anywhere in Australia.
~The free delivery threshold does not apply to orders shipped by express post, which costs $21.00 regardless of the order amount.
How long does it take to ship my order?
Most orders are dispatched same day or next business day.
Pickup from our Balingup shop: Orders are usually ready for pickup within 24hrs. If you would like to pickup over the weekend please order by noon on Friday and call our friendly shop staff to confirm.
Domestic transit times: Tinderbox is located in Balingup, in the South West of WA, so allow a little extra time to receive your order. Approximate transit times are: Perth 2 business days, regional WA 3-4 days, other capital cities 5 days, other regional and remote areas 7-14 days.
If you have provided an email address you will receive an email from us on how to track your item - check your junk mail folder, it may be in there. If you select express post, Australia Post cannot guarantee overnight delivery from our warehouse, although many are delivered overnight to Perth. You can expect products to arrive 2-3 days earlier in other regions and up to a week earlier in remote areas.
When you place your order you can indicate in the 'notes' section if (and where) you would like your parcel left. Otherwise, if you're not at home, Australia Post will notify you via the AusPost app, email, or SMS*. If your parcel has not been successfully matched to your MyPost account, Australia Post will leave a card.
International Transit Times: Allow approximately 10-21 business days for international orders to most countries. International post is trackable and you should get an email with a tracking number when we have completed your order - check your junk folder if you can't see it in your inbox. Check your import restrictions before purchase - Tinderbox is not responsible for customs charges or import restrictions at the receiver's end.
*Please note as of August 2025 Australia Post services to the USA are suspended. Please send us an email if you would like to discuss placing an order and using a different freight service. Shipment charges will be higher that the typical rates, unfortunately.
Heavy/Bulk Order Exceptions: An additional cost may apply for bulk orders (including those over $120 in value) for orders that are large in size or overweight. We will contact you first to approve any additional charge.
