is backordered. We will ship it separately in 10 to 15 days.
Thymus zygis
The name thyme is derived from the Greek word ‘thymos’, meaning ‘perfume’. While the herb was used to scent ancient Greek temples, its penetrating scent means the essential oil is seldom used in today’s fine perfumes and is better suited to disinfectant and purifying blends. Diffuse to protect and boost resilience in colds season. Enhances focus and concentration. Calming for a windy digestion system. Repels insects.
Aroma: Top-Middle Note.
Perfume: Rather peppery, pungent, herbaceous smell that is quite medicinal.
Blends well with: Cedarwood, chamomile, niaouli, grapefruit, lemon, lavender, rosemary, pine and tea tree.
Indications: anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, bactericidal, bechic (relieves coughing), carminative, cicatrisant (diminishes scars), diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, hypertensive, insecticide, stimulant, tonic and vermifuge.
